It’s Monday, December 11th, and it’s time for Monday Night RAW!

Since last week’s edition of Monday Night Hayden, some startling changes have taken place in WWE; Rich Swann was arrested.

As time goes on, you find out your heroes are just humans, prone to dark thoughts and unspeakable actions. Oftentimes your greatest heroes tend to make the greatest mistakes - just look at Roman Reigns winning the Intercontinental Championship. But with that in mind, let’s take a look at what’s lined up for RAW tonight.

A Quick Recap

  • Roman Reigns (c) def. Jason Jordan to retain Intercontinental Title
  • Paige def. Sasha Banks
  • Drew Gulak def. Cedric Alexander, Tony Nese, Mustafa Ali
  • Asuka def. Alicia Fox
  • Finn Balor def. Bo Dallas
  • Sheamus and Cesaro (c.) def. Ambrose and Rollins to retain RAW Tag Team Titles

This Week’s Predictions

Thank God I write all of these day of; otherwise, recently broken

news may not have made it into this article.

Kane & Braun Strowman have not known eachother long, but they have done much in that brief time. Both men have brutalized each other, from chairs to the back to powerslams through the ring. Tonight’s match had been announced for a week, but this morning WWE chose to add a wrinkle - the #1 contendership to Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title.

Although does it really make a difference in the long run?

Much more is on the line for Kane and Strowman. Both the claim to being RAW’s resident monster and the WWE Universe’s champion are up for grabs tonight - who will prevail? (You know who I’ve got.)

Tonight promises to be substantial for the SHIELD. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins failed to regain the tag titles last week (due in part to interference from a certain Samoan Submission Machine), while Reigns kept a firm grip on his IC Title. Three matches were added to tonights card in response to these events…

  • Roman Reigns vs Cesaro
  • Dean Ambrose vs Samoa Joe
  • Seth Rollins vs Sheamus

Each of these promise to be compelling, sound matches, but what’s to come of it? Title shots? Or will defeat for the former Shield members have them heading their seperate ways? It remains to be seen.

The Big News:

On top of these, half-baked feuds and various conflicts have been the status quo for most members of the roster. But last week… well, something WONDERFUL happened.

Ohhhhh yes, Matt Hardy is finally broken.

Nowadays, assaults on an individual’s mental well-being result in public chastisizing and a wave of disgust from the general public and celebrities alike, but fans everywhere lost their collective minds when Matt popped up in the middle of a Bray Wyatt promo, proclaiming he was to be deleted… something many had been waiting for since the Hardys returned. It seemed the most likely route to take, and it seems to be going that way. This writer is delightfully excited.
