FC Edmonton
The Eddies finished off their Spring season of the schedule in outstanding fashion, earning their first home victories of the season. First, Edmonton picked up a victory on June 26 with a 1-0 win over Forge FC from Hamilton. That effort was followed up with an impressive 3-0 victory on Canada Day against the Halifax Wanderers. Those victories vaulted the Eddies into third place for the first half, which may be useful in the final playoff seeding this fall. Following the match Monday, the Eddies begin their second half with a rematch against Forge FC. The match from Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton kicks off Saturday at 11:00 am MST.
