Dave Meltzer is reporting that a police dog bit Shinsuke Nakamura at the arena in Bakersfield last night, causing him to be pulled from tonight’s scheduled matchup against Jeff Hardy.
**ORIGINAL STORY**
WWE.com is reporting that Shinsuke Nakamura is injured, and will no longer be challenging Jeff Hardy for the United States Championship on tonight’s edition of Smackdown Live.

While WWE didn’t disclose the nature of the injury, Hardy will now be issuing an open challenge for his title tonight. There’s also been no news of whether or not the injury is storyline or not.
