The Edmonton Prospects kicked off their WCBL season with back-to-back wins over the Lethbridge Bulls. Next on the docket, the Prospects ramp up their schedule with a home-and-home series with the Okotoks Dawgs. This Thursday, the Prospects host at RE/MAX Field, first pitch 7:05 pm, with the rematch in Okotoks Friday night. The Prospects follow that up with two home games versus Brooks Bombers. First pitch on Saturday takes place at 7:05 pm, with a special Sunday matinee kicking off with a 2:05 pm start.

Stingers look to take the Venom out of the Rattlers

Following their 82-80 victory over the Guelph Nighthawks, the Edmonton Stingers return to the Hive this Friday to take on one of the CEBL’s best, the Saskatchewan Rattlers. The Rattlers are leading the league with a 3-1 record but will be in a vile mood after losing last week to the Niagra River Lions at home 108-72.  Game time Friday from the Expo Centre is 7:00.

Eddies look to attack after a Bye week.

Following a bye week, the Eddies (1-1-1) return to the pitch this Wednesday, when they travel to Tim Hortons’ field in Hamilton to take on the Forge (3-1-2). The next home game for the Eddies is Saturday, as Valour FC (2-0-3) travel from Winnipeg to take on the Eddies from Clarke Park.
