Dashwood, known as Emma throughout her time in WWE, began her career training with Lance Storm at the Storm Wrestling Academy. She competed in the Prairie Wrestling Alliance and Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling shortly after. Following a brief stint on the indies following her released from the WWE in October 2017, Dashwood signed with Ring of Honor in February 2018. In her time there, Dashwood was one of the premier competitors during the infancy of the company’s Women of Honor Division. However, in June 2018 Dashwood was forced to the sidelines due to numerous injuries, including a torn labrum, a fractured shoulder, and a flareup of an auto-immune disease.
At the end of March 2019, while still recovering from surgery, Dashwood declared herself a free agent. This past weekend, she made her return for American promotion Black Label Pro.
Dashwood looks to become the third SWA graduate to become Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion, following Laurel Van Ness (Chelsea Green), and the current champion Taya Valkryie.
