Congratulations to the Houston Astros on winning the World Series! With that moment already behind us we move onto tonight’s slate of sports action with only 3 of the “big 4” sports in season.
Yesterday, the discussion was whether the NHL or the NBA would fill the nightly void left by baseball. The staff at Win Column Sports has informed me that tonight the NFL Thursday night game is king of the viewing options.
Kail Schofield: NFL
Buffalo v NYJ – stunningly, this game means something! Buffalo is in the playoff hunt, and Tyrod Taylor continues to play well. The Jets have been the surprise of the season, as everyone expected them to be 0-fer. Instead, they have been competitive in every game and have 3 wins to show for it. Who would have thought BUF v NVJ would be #MustSeeTV!
In the NBA, Spurs v Warriors is enticing also. Aldridge is off to a hot start but this is a bad matchup for him. Whether it be Draymond Green on him or Kevin Durant, LMA will have his hands full tonight.
Joshua Berube: NFL
Christmas Rush! Bills in red and Jets in green. Nightmare for color blind people everywhere. Bills 5-2 and just added the newly acquired Kelvin Benjamin to their wide receiver core. Sean McDermott has his team trending in the right direction. And as a Patriots fan, I just want to see another Jets loss. After last weeks Atlanta blunder with poor time management and execution in the 4th Quarter, this game will be pretty one sided in my opinion
Trevor Elliott: NFL
The Bills haven’t won the AFC East since 1985. The Bills have won five of their last six and move into a tie for first with the Patriots, setting up an exciting AFC race if they take the win tonight.

I am all about the NBA doubleheader tonight. Kail already mentioned Warriors vs Spurs game but there is just as much interest in the Los Angeles Lakers vs Portland Trail Blazers game.
True. We made the playoffs the last few years. https://t.co/Ja77k7Q63d

The Lonzo Ball versus Damian Lillard matchup promises to be entertaining. Expectedly Ball has not lived up to the incredible hype placed upon him but he is coming off a solid game versus the Pistons. Lillard has been threatening to break into the top 5 point guards in the game for years now. Will the student expose the known defensive deficiencies of the veteran or will Dame Dolla have his bust out game of the early season?
Spencer Love: NHL
Tampa Bay vs the Rangers. Lots of fantasy players for me tonight, have to be paying attention if I want to keep my lead!
What are you watching tonight?
