I didn’t get a chance to watch Fastlane last night – but I did this morning, and what most anticipated to be an underwhelming PPV ended up being a great show. Look for a complete breakdown of the results on Tuesday’s SmackDown Live! Preview. Monday Night Hayden only covers RAW. This is a RAW show.

RAW wasn’t invisible on Sunday. Charlotte Flair now has a clear challenger for WrestleMania. The WWE Title match is confirmed. The Road to WrestleMania is more interesting and better constructed than it’s been thus far. With that in mind, what implications will come up during this evening’s edition of RAW? Let’s take a look.

A Brief Recap

  • Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announced for Wrestlemania
  • Asuka def. Nia Jax – Nia subsequently bodyshamed by RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss
  • The Bar def. The Revival
  • John Cena def. Goldust
  • Bayley def. Mandy Rose
  • Braun Strowman def. Elias
  • Bray Wyatt def. Rhyno
  • Seth Rollins & Finn Balor def. Intercontinental Champion The Miz & The Miztourage

This Weeks Predictions

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was once again absent from RAW last week – but his advocate Paul Heyman promised an appearance this week. I mean, I could go for the absent father joke, but that’s low hanging fruit. The WWE Roman Reigns once again threw generally unkind words towards The Advocate, begging the question; what will Lesnar do when (if) he shows up this evening.

Braun Strowman emotionally castrated Elias Samson this past Monday. Once again, the Drifter was crushed beneath a piano, followed by an upright bass guitar. Talk about putting your body on the line. With only 4 weeks to go until WrestleMania, you have to wonder where the Monster Among Munchkins and The Drifter will end up – whether against each other or shoehorned into another match. You can never tell; similar to whats happening with WOKEN Matt Hardy and the Bray Wyatt.

A big loss to Matt Hardy reinvigorated the Eater of Worlds. For weeks, he has run roughshod over the RAW Roster, calling out Hardy – and last week, Hardy responded. Hardy and Wyatt are bound of meet up in The Ultimate Deletion, hopefully in the same manner the Broken Hardys did in the Final Deletion. But where is this going to take place? WrestleMania, or RAW? Tune in tonight to find out.

Lastly – the recently announced mixed tag pitting RAW Generalissimo Manager Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey against The McMahon-Helmsley Regime. Only made official last week, the build to this match has started with a bang, Ronda dominating Stephanie, and Angle locking in the Angle Lock on Paul. (How goddamn weird would it be for Triple H to wrestle under his real name? Crazy. Hope I get to see it in my lifetime.) Stephanie is bound to show up, and Paul probably will as well – if only to exact a little revenge on Angle and Rousey. But once again, only one way to find out!
