The past week of WWE programming was particularly mediocre, with New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Dominion event outshining whatever garbage was put on by The Vince McMahon. As Money in the Bank falls on this coming Sunday, the go-home shows – and especially RAW – must generate intrigue. Weeks of lazy and repetitive booking have offset solid in-ring work from the main roster talent, and have upset this writer as much as Brock Lesnar is upset by other people existing.
Even so, we will all be tuning in to RAW, if only for another Seth Rollins classic!
Last Week’s Recap

This Week’s RAW
The cruel hand of fate pimp-slapped the RAW Women’s Divison, dealing out devestating knee injuries to both Natalya and Alexa Bliss. Per WWE.com, both ladies are still scheduled to compete in a Fatal 4-Way with fellow Money in the Bank competitors Ember Moon and Sasha Banks. In addition to being crippled for this evening’s match, both very obviously legitimate knee injuries will bear some weight heading into the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Speaking of knees, RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax and UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey are set to meet face-to-face. For weeks, the Irresistible Force has patronized and degraded Rousey, trying to coerce her into a confrontation. Who organized this face-to-face? Senseless if you ask me. Probably RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon, who appointed RAW Superstar Baron Corbin the “Constable of RAW” – a stupid position as well as a stupid nickname.
In addition to becoming Constable of RAW, Baron Corbin stole a win from Curt Hawkins, pushing his record to 0-200 since his WWE return. The least interesting situations on both Smackdown and RAW have centered around Corbin, and this promises to be no different. Likewise, Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal will square off tonight.
The 4 male Money in the Bank competitors from RAW are participating in 4 Way Action tonight. Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Bobby Roode, and Kevin Owens have faced off in one-on-one action for the past few weeks. Balor stood tall following a DQ win over Owens, and Strowman defeated Roode last week. Momentum could fall in any of their hands following tonight’s match.
Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins had his ass beaten last week, through dubious means. Elias nailed the Kingslayer with a DDT on a steel chair, sparking a lawsuit from Will Smith.
Universal Champion Brock Lesnar‘s vacation continues, though he reportedly will defend his title at Summerslam.
RAW Tag Team Champions The Deleter of Worlds have an upcoming defense against The B-Team, at Money in the Bank. Who cares?
That’s it for this week; but what are your thoughts? Let us know, and as always, thanks for reading!
