They sure grow up fast, don’t they?

It seems like just yesterday that Force Pro Wrestling was announcing its return, and not even a month later the promotion is already running its second show, Force Pro Wrestling: Just the Tip. As the name may indicate, it’s the first 18+ event in the promotion’s history, with five standout matches making up the evening’s card. Michael Richard Blais and Kayla Jaye are set to headline Friday’s show, with only the Colton Kelly/Aiden Adams match not taking place for the first time ever. It’s a unique card featuring some of the best talents in Alberta, all under one roof for the first time.

Breaking Down the Card:
Kato vs. Sheik Shabaz

On Saturday night for the first time ever, Sheik Shabaz and Kato will meet inside the squared circle.

Shabaz and the Asian Assassin have a long history together; in fact, the pair trained together in the early days of their careers. However, Friday night’s event will mark the first time the two have faced off in singles action, with Shabaz seemingly eager to get his hands on his long-time compatriot.

“Kato and I trained together and became friends,” commented Shabaz to the WCSN. “He was always enjoyable to be around. We went our separate ways (in) chasing our dreams. It’s a shame what I’ll have to do to him this Friday at Force Pro. But I’m here for the money: I have enough friends.”

“The Thickness” Reid Matthews vs. “Spaceman” Beri Grayson

Though it may not be for Matthews’ PWA Mayhem Championship, don’t expect his battle with “Spaceman” Beri Grayson to be any less brutal.

There are few in Alberta quite like “The Thickness” Reid Matthews. His impressive combination of sheer agility and brute strength make him one of the most dangerous professional wrestlers on the scene today. There’s a reason he’s become one of the longest-reigning Mayhem champions of all-time; there’s nary a situation or an opponent that can shake the Thickness. However, Matthews truly hasn’t faced anyone quite like Beri Grayson. The Spaceman has truly impressed throughout his time in Alberta, with the high-flyer consistently dazzling with his various aerial displays. I like the Thickness’ chances if he’s able to keep the Spaceman grounded, but you can truly never count out Beri Grayson.

Zoë Sager vs. Jack Pride

Zoë Sager may have to wait a little longer to get her hands on Dylon Stone, but if things fall her way on Friday night, it’ll all be worth it in the end.

Just the Tip is set to see Sager square off with the Man of Two Minds, Jack Pride. After the Prelude, it looked as though the PWA Women’s Champion was set to battle Stone; however, the Golden Cartel member purportedly had some business to attend to in Miami and subsequently struck a deal with Pride to proverbially tag in for his match at Just the Tip. With the promise of shiny keys(?) on the line, Pride was more than willing to accept. Now, we simply wait to see which version of Pride we’ll get on Friday night – because frankly, we all know Sager’s bringing the fight regardless.

Colton Kelly vs. Aiden Adams

Buckle up, kids – this one’s not going to be for the faint of heart.

Colton Kelly and Aiden Adams are set to renew their bad blood following the events of Force Pro Wrestling: The Prelude. A vicious senton through a table gave Kelly the victory by TKO; however, with Adams obviously not pinned or submitted during the match, Force Pro management sanctioned a rematch for Just the Tip. Though Kelly’s penchant for violence is well-known, Adams is no slouch in that department, either. It all boils down to which man is willing to push themselves further, and frankly, I don’t think that’s going to be a problem for either of them.

“God’s Gift to Wrestling” Michael Richard Blais vs. Kayla Jaye

The evening’s main event will see Michael Richard Blais take on Kayla Jaye of the Golden Cartel following the shocking conclusion to the Prelude.

It’s rare to see Blais lose, and even more rare to see it happen in the fashion it did on October 18th. Simply put, Blais was put down conclusively, falling victim to a deadly Canadian Destroyer/Superkick combo from Kayla Jaye. It was a massive statement from Jaye, with the win potentially marking the biggest victory of her over two-year career. Though Blais was gracious in his loss, it was clear that the defeat didn’t sit well with him, and within 24 hours of the conclusion of the Prelude, Friday’s main event had been made official. Now, two of Alberta’s – nay, Western Canada’s – top stars will face off one-on-one for the first time ever.

You don’t want to miss this one, folks.
