EDMONTON, AB: Hammerstone out, Dickinson in.

Chris Dickinson, this year’s GCW Trent Acid Cup winner, will be making a series of appearances for Real Canadian Wrestling from May 22nd-24th.

Dickinson replaces the previously-announced Alexander Hammerstone. According to a release sent out by Real Canadian Wrestling, the MLW star was forced to pull out of the appearances due to circumstances beyond his control.

Dickinson comes to RCW with a resume rivalling the very best of the Canadian independent scene. Learning from the likes of Harley Race, Ricky Steamboat and Mike Quackenbush, Dickinson has not only become one of the most well-travelled wrestlers in the world but one of the most successful on the indies. Throughout his career, Dickinson has appeared for the likes of Evolve, ROH, CZW, Dragon Gate, and more. As Real Canadian Wrestling put it in their release announcing Dickinson’s appearances, “his hard-hitting style and incredible athleticism combined makes him a walking highlight reel.” Recently, Dickinson captured the 2nd Annual Trent Acid Cup, performing in front of a crowd of 0 as part of the COVID-19 pandemic currently sweeping the world.
