**UPDATED: July 3, 12:46**
WWE has confirmed that Riott has suffered an MCL sprain in her left knee. No word on how long she’ll be out of action.
WWE.com is reporting that Ruby Riott, the leader of the Riott Squad, suffered a knee injury at at live event this weekend. They also confirmed that Riott was scheduled for an MRI today; however, there were no further updates at the time of this writing.
Riott, formerly known as Heidi Lovelace, made her main roster debut with WWE on the November 21st edition of Smackdown Live along with Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan. While the trio was never presented dominantly during their time on the blue brand, Riott earned praise for her in-ring work and her feud with Charlotte Flair just prior to last year’s WrestleMania. The entire trio moved over to RAW as part of the latest Superstar Shakeup, and losing their leader would be a major blow to the faction.
Win Column will keep you updated as more information becomes available, and all the best to Riott in her recovery.
