EDMONTON, AB: Yet another pair of independent wrestling shows have been postponed.

Yesterday, Real Canadian Wrestling postponed a pair of shows, both due to the current worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

This weekend’s upcoming events in Calgary (March 20th) and Edmonton (21st) will no longer be taking place.

In a release sent out by RCW, the promotion announced that any tickets purchased for this weekend’s previously-announced events would be honoured at a later date. Refunds will also be available at the point of purchase.

The shows are the latest casualties of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past week, the Prairie Wrestling Alliance, Pure Power Wrestling and Real Canadian Wrestling themselves have had to delay shows, with no rescheduled dates announced thus far.

At this point, the next Albertan wrestling date is MPW: The Return, hosted by Monster Pro Wrestling and currently slated to take place on April 4th.

Stay tuned to the WCSN for more from the Albertan independent wrestling scene.
